All Residents of Franklin County as well as those visiting or passing through the County.

Services/Program Description

Services include information about deaths that occurred in Franklin County and releases for cremation of those that die in Franklin County. 

The investigation of all sudden unexpected deaths as defined by the County Code.

Regulation and Oversight

The Coroner is elected every four (4) years by the voters and is directly responsible to the electorate.  This position must be State Certified by the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General Coroners Education Board.
