Services

Franklin County Hazardous materials operates under the requirements of the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act (SARA Title III) of 1986 regarding Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Reporting of hazardous and toxic chemicals.

Program Description

Franklin County Hazardous Materials prepares and reviews on an annual basis the Emergency Response Plans for each qualifying SARA Title III facility, submits billing for required facilities under provisions of Chemical Inventory Reports, and also provides organizational response to hazardous materials releases.
